Usage

Navigating the Asset Files

All files related to the ARPG Addon Module for GC2 can be found under:

📂 Studiopoof/GC2-ARPG – This contains all core files for the ARPG Addon Module for GC2, including scenes, prefabs, variables, and item presets.

Additionally:

• 📂 Studiopoof/GC2-Common – Contains files that are shared across multiple Studiopoof assets and may be useful for various integrations.
• 📂 Studiopoof/Addons – This is where you’ll find extra .unitypackage files containing example content for Synty Studios assets. When imported, these will generate new folders within Studiopoof/Addons.

Demo Scenes

Our demo scenes are located in:

When setting up your project, ensure the following scenes are added to the Build Profiles for correct functionality:

1. Cutscene-GC2-ARPG
2. Demo-GC2-ARPG
3. EnemyTypes-GC2-ARPG
4. PushBlocks-GC2-ARPG
5. Title-GC2-ARPG
6. PolygonFantasyKingdom-GC2-ARPGxSS (If using Synty Studios assets)
7. Demo-GC2-ARPGxSS (If using Synty Studios assets)
8. PolygonStarter-GC2-ARPGxSS (If using Synty Studios assets)

To add these to the Build Profiles, go to:

• File > Build Settings, or use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + B.

Prefabs and Important Files

📂 Studiopoof/GC2-ARPG/Files contains essential folders, including:

• Prefabs (WithMechanics) – Contains pre-configured prefabs such as:
  • Doors that open
  • Breakable vases
  • Other interactable objects
• Inventory Presets – Pre-made weapons and items for GC2 Inventory that can be used directly or modified as needed.
• Variables – Contains global variable files that are crucial for the functionality of the asset. These files are used to ensure mechanics work across different systems, so do not modify them unless necessary.
